I like to bust some myths for you !

Good Morning! It’s a glorious day here in Dubai. It’s sunny , warm and breezy! It’s the beginning of the best times of the year. I love living in Dubai. Anyone else would say yes it is tax free and good money. For me it poses a great opportunity to live a healthier life.

I can open doors to a wealth of information and can access the  best products in the world . There are ample exercising opportunities like parks , gyms, malls, bootcamps , yoga and so much more.

I said I have access to world class products. True, Dubai is Shopaholics paradise but what I meant was I have access to products that can enhance the quality of my life.

Beginning from today I would like to write an article every week about some of the product myths that we embrace as truths. The real truths can set you free. I hope you will enjoy reading some very interesting information that I plan to share with you.

Let me begin with an all time favourite of the world, "Margarine".

I do not know a single household that does not have Margarine in their fridge. It is believed to be a wealthy man’s staple by some people. People believe that Margarine is healthy and even doctors used to recommend it to heart patients.

Margarine was invented in France in 1869. It was produced to feed the army and the lower classes who could not afford butter. Margarine is made with refined vegetable oils. Dr Mercola sites following dangers of eating Margarine and other butter substitutes.

  • Trans fats: These are unnatural fats in margarine, shortenings and spreads. Trans fats contribute to heart disease, cancer, bone problems, hormonal imbalance and skin disease; infertility, difficulties in pregnancy and problems with lactation; and low birth weight, growth problems and learning disabilities in children.
  • Free radicals: They contribute to numerous health problems, including cancer and heart disease.
  • Emulsifiers and preservatives: Numerous additives of questionable safety are added to margarines and spreads. Most vegetable shortening is stabilized with preservatives like BHT.
  • Hexane and other solvents: Used in the extraction process, these industrial chemicals can have toxic effects.
  • Synthetic vitamins
  • Bleach
  • Artificial flavours
  • Sterols - Causes endocrine problems

The solution is simple. You need to substitute the fat spreads
with Pure organic grass fed butter !

Butter has a wealth of health benefits as it contains essential
vitamins , minerals , cholesterol, fatty acids , Conjugated
Linoleic Acid (CLA).

It can help protect you from cancer , heart disease, asthma,
thyroid health problems and facilitate proper growth and
development in children.

Do not hesitate to pick up the butter and generously spread
it on your food and enjoy the melt in the mouth creamy taste.
It is so good for you!

However you must select non GMO , organic and pasture
raised cows milk butter as much as possible.
